Remember the good ol days of egg throwing eek! one legged race, tug of war, swimming at the beach, potato/vadoo sarks on puree oh yes they were the fun ol days
Well we are bringing it all back and MORE and would like you all to come help us celebrate the WISC 75th Jubilee picnic. If wet will be held following Sunday.
Donations of wrapped lollies/ novelty chocolate bars etc for prizes,
eggs and sunscreen lotion would be most welcome.

Sunday 7th or 14th March - Social hockey Club Day - National Hockey Stadium
A Social Hockey Tournament will be held in March 2010 for teams, past and present, playing in any social hockey grade. Perfect timing for a little pre-season training!!
To register an 8-aside team into this tournament please contact Chandu or Vanita Parbhu before the end of January 2010. This tournament has been organised for Social Hockey teams only, ie. No Premier Competition teams or players may enter.
Sunday and Monday 6th & 7th - Hosting the Annual New Zealand Indian Sports Association Queens Birthday Tournament
Saturday 11th September - Formal Dress-up Jubilee Ball
Saturday 30th October - Hosting the Bi-Annual Golden Oldies Tournament
October / November - 75th Birthday Giant Cake Celebration
Breaking news
The WISC junior Boys have returned from a
very successful and fun trip from Auckland and Pukekohe. The results
from the weekend were 3-0 to Wellington to regain the cup vs Auckland
and 8-2 to Wellington vs Pukekohe. Both results were very satisfactory
especially against Pukekohe as this side included a number of players
from the 2009 winning Hatch Cup Counties team.

Boys and management would like to thank both Auckland and Pukekohe
Indians Sports Club for their hospitality in hosting us during the
weekend.

Premier One Hockey Finals
Congratulations to both our P1 Men's and Woman's hockey team for winning their Semi-finals. Our Women's team won 2-1 over Victoria and our Men's team won 3-1 over Victoria.
This is the third year both our P1 teams have made the finals, each year the finals have been against Hutt (Men's) and Eastern Hutt (Woman's)
Update:
Congratulations for the the Men's hockey team for winning 5-0 over Ultimo Hutt. It was a closer game in the Woman's semi-final with Eastern Hutt taking victory 2-1
