Proposed New Constitution
WISC is required to re-register as an Incorporated Society and adopt a new Constitution that is compliant with the Incorporated Societies Act 2022. At the AGM in April 2025, a Registration Sub-committee was formed to draft an updated Constitution that is compliant with the Act, guided by the current WISC Constitution adopted in January 1996.
Member approval of the redrafted Constitution presented here will be sought at a Special General Meeting on Sunday, 30 November 2025. Following this, a second approval of the final version of the new Constitution was confirmed by members at another General Meeting in March 2026.
